The Castillo de Davalillo is a medieval military enclosure located in the municipal district of San Asensio in the autonomous community of La Rioja in Spain. It is a castle in Romanesque style, standing on a hill dominating the valley of the river Ebro 5 km from the town centre of San Asensio. At its foot is the hermitage of Nuestra Señora de Davalillo, which must have been the church of the vanished settlement of Davalillo.
From the castle one can see the Sonsierra area and much of the Rioja Alta, being a strategic place alongside the castle of Briones for protecting La Rioja from Navarrese attacks that could easily be launched by way of the fortified bridge of San Vicente de la Sonsierra.
