The Castillo de Luna is a fortress located in the Spanish municipality of Rota. It was built by the house of Arcos, jurisdictional lords of the town for centuries. Today it is the seat of the municipality's town council, which owns it. The castle's name apparently comes from the marriage of Pedro Ponce de León, the ill-fated first-born and heir of the 1st Marquess of Cádiz, to a daughter of Álvaro de Luna, who also gave his name to the castle of Luna of Mairena del Alcor.
