Cizre Castle is a castle located in Cizre in Şırnak Province, Turkey, and today in a ruined state. The structure, which lies on the bank of the Tigris, consists of two parts, an inner and an outer one. Two-thirds of its walls have disappeared entirely, and since some of the stones on the outer face of the surviving southern section of the castle were removed and used in house building, there is no unity to it.
It was used by the Border Battalion Command until 2010, and a restoration project was carried out in 2012.
