Košeca Castle
🇸🇰 Slovakia
Košeca Castle is a vanished castle near the village of Košecké Podhradie in the district of Ilava in Slovakia. It was perhaps founded as early as the thirteenth century and served as the centre of the Košeca estate. In the course of history it was taken several times, most recently in 1670, when imperial troops completely destroyed the castle. The remains of the castle are protected as a national cultural monument.
