The castle-palace of Escalona is a construction located in the Toledo locality of Escalona, autonomous community of Castilla-La Mancha, Spain. It was one of the most important defensive sites on the frontier between Toledo and the Almoravids and Almohads in 1131, 1137 and 1196. It was declared an artistic architectural monument —the forerunner of the bien de interés cultural designation— on 2 February 1922.
