Castle Lichtenberg
🇳🇱 Netherlands
Lichtenberg castle ruin is the ruin of a castle located on the Sint-Pietersberg in the Dutch municipality of Maastricht. Of the medieval hill castle only a ruined keep and part of the north wing have been preserved. The castle ruin forms the northern part of the square-shaped buildings around the courtyard of the Hoeve Lichtenberg, which dates largely from the 18th century. Part of the castle farm housed the Sint Pieters Museum from 1991 to 2018.
