The Castle of Bendinat is a historic building located in the locality of the same name in the municipality of Calvià, on Mallorca (Balearic Islands, Spain). It was built in the 19th century by the 5th Marquis of la Romana, Pedro Caro y Álvarez de Toledo, following the neo-Gothic style of Central European castles. It stands between the locality of Bendinat and the Sierra de Na Burguesa. Its construction was carried out on the houses of an old Islamic farmstead that had been the property of a Mallorcan family named Burgues d'Ençà, of the 15th century, which the Marquis of la Romana later inherited, already in the 19th century. It is surrounded by a wood of Aleppo pine (pinus halepensis) and stone pine (pinus pinea), as well as specimens of pistacia and of ceratonia siliqua, colloquially known as the carob tree.
