The Castle of Târgu Mureș, Marosvásárhely in Hungarian, is a former Transylvanian citadel in Romania. It is situated in the heart of the town.

It is one of the largest fortresses of Transylvania and of the Székely Land, with an area of about 4.5 acres (1.8 ha). It has seven bastions: the gate bastion (Kapubástya), the tailors' bastion (Szabók-bástyája), the butchers' bastion (Mészárosok-bástyája), the coopers' bastion (Kádárok-bástyája), the furriers' bastion (Szűcsök-bástyája), incorporated into that of the locksmiths (Lakatosok-bástyájá), the tanners' bastion (Vargák-bástyája) and finally the small bastion (Kisbástya).

In the south-western part of the courtyard stands the oldest church in the town, the fortified church, which dates from the 14th century.
