The Castle of Xinquer stands beside the abandoned hamlet of Xinquer, on a rocky table crowning a hill above the deserted village belonging to the municipality of Alcudia de Veo (province of Castellón, Spain).

The site is reached by a forest track in good condition that starts from a point on the road between Alcudia de Veo and Algimia de Almonacid.

The castle follows the usual patterns and typology of Muslim fortresses, although its origin and dating cannot be stated with certainty owing to the lack of bibliography about it. It is much deteriorated, in ruins. Only remains of some walls and of two towers can be seen. Given its location, it probably had the function of defending and protecting the territory in which it stands.
