Kamenica Castle was a castle east of the village of Kamenica in eastern Slovakia. It was built during the reign of the Árpáds in the middle of the 13th century. It served to secure militarily the road connections between Hungary and Poland as well as being a hunting seat of the king. The first owner of the castle was the Tarczay family. On 12 June 1556 the fortress was captured and destroyed by the army of Ferdinand I of Habsburg under General Zsigmond Forgách.

The ruin later came, together with the village of the same name, into the possession of the Hungarian princely family Dessewffy, to which the publicist József Dessewffy also belonged. The owning family Tahy demolished the greater part of the remaining complex in 1816 in order to obtain stones from it for their distillery in nearby Lúčka.

The ruin is a listed monument (see the list of protected monuments in Kamenica (Slovakia)).
