Likhauri Fortress (or Chanieti) (Georgian ლიხაურის ციხე) is a medieval fortress in the Georgian region of Guria in the Ozurgeti Municipality between the villages of Likhauri and Chanieti. According to legend the fortress was built by the Georgian queen Tamar in the 12th century. Hence its second name, Tamar's Fortress (Georgian თამარის ციხე).
In 1774 Likhauri, alongside the fortresses of Askana and Bukistsikhe, was occupied by Turkish troops. In the same year it was retaken by the Imeretian king Solomon I and the prince of Guria Mamia I Gurieli.
At the end of the 19th century the fortress served as a military base of the Russian army.
