Medzianský hrádek

Medzianský hrádek is a vanished castle north-east of the village of Medzianky in the district of Vranov nad Topľou in the Prešov Region in Slovakia. It was probably founded by the monarch in the first half of the thirteenth century and was abandoned during the fourteenth century. It was briefly used again by the Brethren in the fifteenth century. The remains of the castle were uncovered during archaeological research and are protected as a national cultural monument. The site forms part of the protected area of the Medzianske skalky.
