The chateau in Nové Město nad Metují is originally a Renaissance building, rebuilt in the Baroque style around 1660 and, at the beginning of the 20th century, remodelled by Dušan Jurkovič and other architects in modern styles (Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Rondo-Cubism, Functionalism).
