Regéc Castle is a castle built around 1300 in the central part of the Zemplén hills. Under the decree of Emperor Leopold I, General Caprara had it demolished in 1686, after which only its ruins stood for centuries. Its restoration began at the end of the 1990s, and since then it can be seen in a half-restored condition.
