The royal castle of Rytro (Polish Zamek w Rytrze) is a castle ruin situated on a 463-metre-high hill in Rytro near Nowy Sącz in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship, on the river Poprad in the Beskids range (the Sącz Beskids). It is one of the Dunajec castles, which guarded the medieval trade route from the Kingdom of Poland to Upper Hungary along the Dunajec and the Poprad. The name is of German origin and derives from Ritter (knight).
