Zamek w Bydgoszczy
🇵🇱 Poland
Zamek w Bydgoszczy – a defensive and administrative structure from the times of Casimir the Great, existing in 1346–1656 (ruins until 1895). In 1370–1377 it was the residence of Casimir of Słupsk (grandson of Casimir the Great), and later, until the Swedish Deluge, the residence of the starostas of Bydgoszcz. Almost all Polish kings stayed in it, and especially often Casimir IV Jagiellon (during the Thirteen Years' War), while in 1577 King Stephen Báthory lived in it for three months.
