Budynek grodu starościńskiego w Bieczu (also: the vogt's building, the starosta's castle, the starosta's stronghold) – a building erected at the beginning of the 16th century, originally as the seat of the vogt of Biecz. In 1641 it was converted into a castle serving as the seat of the starosta and of the town court. In 1667–1676 one of the chief creators of the Baroque in Poland, Wacław Potocki, held office in it. After 1783 the building fell into ruin. The name "gród starościński", however, has survived to this day by force of living tradition.
