The Castell d'Alaró (Castilian Castillo de Alaró) is the ruin of a rock castle below the 825-metre-high mountain peak of Puig d'Alaró in the municipality of Alaró on the Spanish Mediterranean island of Mallorca. It lies about three kilometres north of the small town of Alaró. The name Alaró derives from the Arabic al'-run and means Roman, Byzantine or Christian. The castle can be reached by a tolerably asphalted road from Alaró and a subsequent short walk of about half an hour. Since 1931 the ruin has been a Spanish cultural monument and today belongs to the town of Alaró, the Diocese of Mallorca and a private owner.
