🇵🇱 Poland
Castle in Ostrów Tumski, Wrocław – the former residence of the castellans of Wrocław, and later of the Piast dukes of the province, on the western edge of Ostrów Tumski. Of the masonry castle of the 12th and 13th centuries, which arose on the site of a stronghold existing since the 10th century, only the heavily distorted church of St Martin and a few fragments within other buildings or below ground level have survived.
