The Castle of Alange is a medieval castle located in the municipality of Alange, in the province of Badajoz (Extremadura, Spain). It rises on the Cerro de la Culebra at 485 m (hence it is also called the Castle of la Culebra), with steep, abrupt slopes of quartzite rock.

From the remains of this fortress the castles of Hornachos and Montemolín can be seen. Standing some 200 metres above the Extremaduran plain, one can also easily make out not only the town of Alange to the east, but the whole district through 360°: Mérida and the mouth of the river Matachel on the Guadiana to the north, the imposing Alange dam to the west, and the northernmost limits of the reservoir and Almendralejo to the south. It has the generic protection afforded to Spanish castles.
