The Chiwan Left Fort is located on Yingzuishan hill on Zuopaotai Road, Chiwan harbour, Nanshan district, Shenzhen city, Guangdong province, China, and is a municipal- and county-level cultural relic protection unit of Shenzhen city, of the ancient architecture type, dating from the Qing dynasty, announced on 30 May 1983.
The Chiwan Left Fort faces Lingdingyang; the base of its walls is built of granite, and one side of the fort is a raised platform for working the guns. Within the fort's enclosing wall there remain the ruined foundations of the houses in which the soldiers garrisoning the fort lived at the time.
