Fort Lijdzaamheid was a Dutch VOC fort in Mozambique from 1721 to 1730. The fort lay on the northern side of Delagoa Bay where the Rio de la Goa empties. At this spot the Mozambican capital Maputo would later be founded.

Various disastrous factors led to the trading post becoming an expensive failure for the VOC.
