Hisn Yakka, Madina Yakka or simply Yakka is the name given to a Muslim fortress and settlement, predecessors of the present-day city of Yecla (Murcia). It was inhabited between the 11th and 13th centuries, since the settlement was abandoned from 1266 after the Mudéjar revolt and the new Christian settlers established themselves on the opposite side of the hill.
