Muwaylih Castle is a massive historic castle located near the Muwaylih centre belonging to the Duba governorate in the Tabuk region. It was formerly one of the main stations of the coastal pilgrimage route and one of the gateways of the north in the later Islamic eras; it was built in the reign of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent in the year 968 AH / 1560 AD, and lasted 400 years.
