The Achipse Fortress (from Russian: Кре́пость Ачипсе́) is a medieval archaeological site (7th–10th centuries), located at the confluence of the Achipse and Mzymta rivers, north of Estosadok, on the southern slopes of the Western Caucasus range. It lies in the administrative territory of the Adler district of the municipal unit of the resort city of Sochi, in Krasnodar Krai in southern Russia. It is the largest site of its kind in the Krasnaya Polyana region. During excavations numerous remains of pottery and glass were found, as well as some metal objects.
