Castelo de Castro Caldelas, or castle of the Counts of Lemos, is a medieval fortress situated in the Ourense town of Castro Caldelas in Galicia, Spain. It was the most important fortress of the Ribeira Sacra and played a very active and significant role in the various conflicts that unfolded in the area during the Middle Ages, especially in the so-called Irmandiño Revolt.
It was declared a Historic-Artistic monument by the generic declaration of the Decree of 22 April 1949 and law 16/1985 on Spanish historical heritage.
It is therefore an Asset of Cultural Interest with the category of Monument.
