The Castle of Maceda (in Galician: Castelo de Maceda), also known as the Fortress of Maceda, is a castle located in the municipality of Maceda (province of Ourense, Spain). Since 1994 the building has been listed as a Bien de Interés Cultural in the catalogue of monuments of Spain's historical heritage. The present architectural complex is dominated by palatial rather than defensive elements, the result of the extensive remodelling carried out in the Early Modern period to adapt it to residential functions.
