Fort Tsche (over the years and in various languages also called "Ч", "Cz", "Czerniaków", "Legionów Dąbrowskiego", "Królikarnia", "Mokotów II" or "Piłsudskiego") lies on Idzikowskiego Street in the Mokotów-Stegny district and was part of the inner defensive ring of the Warsaw Fortress. It was built in the 1880s. Since 1928 it has been named after Józef Piłsudski, to whom a monument in the entrance area was also dedicated in 1997. The complex is entered in the city's monument protection register under the designation "Fort Mokotów II" (object No. 806 of 12 March 1973).
