The Forte de Santa Bárbara da Vila, or more simply fort of Santa Bárbara, is situated on the island of Santa Catarina, in the municipality of Florianópolis, in the state of Santa Catarina, in Brazil.
It was erected on a small island, at the strait separating the island from the mainland, on the side of the South Bay. It was intended to protect the settlement of Nossa Senhora do Desterro, today Florianópolis. It was built around the 1760s.
