Onda Castle is a fortification located in the Spanish town of Onda (Castellón). The original structure was raised by the Muslims in the 10th century on an ancient Roman settlement. The primitive structure lies buried beneath various reconstructions carried out over the centuries. Because of its great size it came to be known as the "castle of the 300 towers", for it was said to have as many towers as the year has days. For some years it has been undergoing restoration. It currently houses a museum, notable for its display of Muslim plasterwork from a palatial house of the early 13th century.
