Fort No. 5 — King Frederick William III (German: Friedrich Wilhelm III) is a military fortification structure in Königsberg (now Kaliningrad) which covered the highway to Pillau. It belongs to the ring of forts known as the "night featherbed of Königsberg". It is named in honour of the King of Prussia Frederick William III (1770–1848), who headed the state during the war with Napoleon.
In early April 1945 it was taken by Soviet troops, the German garrison capitulated, and the fort itself was heavily destroyed.
