Hongyuan Fort is a fort in Beilun district, Ningbo city, Zhejiang province, China, of which remains survive today. The fort is located at the north-eastern foot of Lishan hill; the fort built of lime-based tabia was begun in 1887 and was once the largest fort within Zhenhai county; part of its ruined walls still survives. The reinforced concrete fort was built in 1936. In 1996 Hongyuan Fort, together with the other coastal defence installations at the mouth of Zhenhai, was listed as a Major Historical and Cultural Site Protected at the National Level.
