The Kourdane Palace is one of the historical landmarks of the town of Aïn Madhi in the Algerian province of Laghouat.
This palace was built by Ahmed Ammar Tidjani (1850-1897), the fourth caliph of the Tijaniyya order, as a residence for Aurélie Picard, his wife, whom he had won during his exile in France in 1870.
In his time the Kourdane Palace was a true paradise, but today it is the remains of an abandoned structure, visited only by visitors who cannot see its locked interior or its lost contents, whose fate is unknown.
There are only parts of a car from the beginning of the 20th century and an elegant horse carriage on the ground floor, which has many entrances.
