Slot Zeist
🇳🇱 Netherlands · 17th century
Slot Zeist is a 17th-century palace in the Dutch municipality of Zeist, which was built as a pleasure palace for Willem Adriaan van Nassau-Odijk. The palace was designed by the architect Jacob Roman. It is surrounded by an English landscape park and the Brothers' and Sisters' Square (Broeder- and Zusterplein). The richly decorated and furnished building (one of the most worthwhile palaces to see in all of the Netherlands) is open to a limited extent at weekends and during the summer holidays (afternoons only).
