The Ufa Kremlin is a historic fortification, not preserved to the present day, within Old Ufa, which stood on the site of the present-day Friendship Monument. It was a kremlin with a massive wooden wall with a total length of 440 metres. Above its southern and northern parts rose oaken towers. The Ufa Kremlin consisted of the Mikhailovskaya tower, the Nikolskaya tower, the Naugolnaya tower, the voivode's house, the chancellery hut, the Smolensk Cathedral, a bell tower, grain stores and a prison.
