The Castle of Lochstädt, also written Burg Lochstedt, was an art-historically important order castle of the Teutonic Order in the then East Prussian village of Lochstädt, today Pavlovo, situated in the Kaliningrad Oblast, the part of East Prussia belonging today to Russia. It was meant to control access to the Vistula Lagoon, but soon fell into insignificance. Only through the constant use of the Lochstedt castle chapel was the castle initially spared from demolition. Although its interior furnishings had suffered through war and outside use, it survived largely unchanged until its destruction in 1945 and in the 1960s.
