Qasr Dush (Arabic قصر دوش, DMG Qaṣr Dūš) was a settlement founded by the Ptolemies on the eastern edge of the Libyan Desert and in Roman times possessed a military camp responsible for securing and monitoring important trade routes on the edge of the empire's frontier. The ruined site lies at the southern end of the Kharga Oasis in Egypt, about 95 kilometres south of the town of Kharga. The Greek name of the place, Kysis, derives from its ancient Egyptian designation Kš.
